Christine HomerA long time ago, "by chance" I was introduced to one of Shanti Gowans' yoga classes through a friend. I realised this was what I'd been looking for. I trained with Shanti and am still a student of Shanti's, forever grateful for the teachings, and the wisdom and love I have received from her. For me Yoga is the path towards a deep inner peace, with all its wisdom and healing, the path home to ourselves and in my classes I aim to create a peaceful space that students can come to and find that connection with themselves. I have been running the Southern Yoga and Health Centre for 29 years now, and before that I travelled extensively overseas, studying Zen and Tibetan Buddhism, natural health and diet, all of which expanded my understanding of myself and life. I met some beautiful teachers who were all wonderful examples of how I wanted to live my life. Other things I love are animals, hiking, nature and I'm addicted to chai. | |

Caroline Connor Caroline Connor is a therapeutic life coach with a specialty in childhood abuse and trauma. Her own very personal experience with trauma and the lack of professional understanding around its lifelong effects on people and the focus on 'management' rather than resolution was the catalyst for Caroline turning her own healing into a profession. With a decade of clinical experience behind her working with everything from bullying (school and workplace) eating disorders, grief, depression, anxiety, anger and all the way to incest, there is nothing taboo and nothing that can't be healed with the right techniques and guidance.
